Velvet was my beautiful blue point Birman. She was a sweet, affectionate cat. Our ten years together went by so quickly. Although she's gone now, she will live forever in my heart.

Here is Velvet with Sunshine. When Velvet was a kitten, Sunshine mothered her, and although they fought sometimes, they were fond of each other.

Velvet and Ember had a very special bond. Sunshine was upset when Ember moved in, but within a couple of hours, Velvet welcomed her into the family. Velvet and Ember became extremely close. They rarely fought, and they often cuddled together and licked each other. I loved to watch them; it was obvious how much they loved each other.
